'When They Go Low, We Go High': Little Girl Channels Michelle Obama

A little girl in Detroit, Michigan, dressed up as Michelle Obama, channeling the former first lady in a video shoot at the girl’s home on April 18.

This video, recorded by Detroit mom Kenya White, shows her five-year-old daughter Rosie dressed in a Michelle Obama-inspired outfit while listing her accomplishments.

“I am a role model for women, advocate for healthy families, attorney and author. I am also a fashion icon,” Rosie says in the video. “When someone is mean, cruel or acts like a bully, we don’t stoop to their level, no. Our motto is, when they go low, we go high.”

Kenya White told Storyful: “It’s something we do as a household hobby as we love to create. This video was super fun to make because Rosie loves to do a model walk.” Credit: Kenya White via Storyful
