Man 'Channels His Inner Steve Irwin' and Calmly Carries Trapped Hawk Out of House

An unflappable man scooped up and released a red-tailed hawk trapped in a screened porch in East Aurora, New York.

Ryan Levy can be seen calmly grabbing the bird of prey in his hands and walking it to a nearby exit in video uploaded to the recorder Tim Glaudemans’s YouTube channel.

“Ryan channels his inner Steve Irwin in order to free the beautiful creature,” Glaudemans wrote in the video caption.

Glaudemans told Storyful that the video was originally recorded after a music festival on June 10, 2018. However, it was only posted to YouTube on January 15, 2021. Credit: Tim Glaudemans via Storyful
