Manchester Memorial Crowd Spontaneously Sings Oasis Hit 'Don't Look Back in Anger'

Crowds in Manchester joined a woman in singing the Oasis hit ’Don’t Look Back in Anger’ after a moment’s silence for the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing at the start of the week.

Hundreds of people had gathered for the memorial in St. Ann’s Square on May 25, where mourners laid flowers.

The suicide blast killed 22 people and injured at least 59, according to reports.

This footage was shot by Guardian journalist Josh Halliday and shared on Twitter. The song’s writer, former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, soon retweeted the video, commenting, “❤️ Mancunians.” Credit: @JoshHalliday/The Guardian via Storyful
