Yahoo Finance's Ines Ferre reviews trading performances for markets and sectors.

Video transcript

BRIAN SOZZI: Hi, and welcome back to Yahoo Finance Live. Yahoo Finance's Ines Ferre is fired up and standing by to run through some hot moving stocks on our platform right now. Ines, take it away.

INES FERRE: Yeah, that's right, Brian. And just taking a look at the overall markets right now, we are watching the Dow up more than 1%. We're looking at the NASDAQ that is now in green territory. It's jumped around a little bit around the flatline. Part of that has to do with Apple. I'll get to that in a second. But also the S&P 500 up more than 1%.

In the sector action, we're watching financials and industrials that are leading the gains. The underperformer right there, you're seeing technology. Of course, part of this has to also do because of Apple down more than 2 and 1/2%. It was down around 4% at the open of the session today over concerns about demand for its iPhone.

And then, just taking a look at where we're at with software companies, because we did see some of the software names yesterday reporting their results, and you can take a look. SNOW, Snowflake, up more than 8% after revenue beat. Its full year revenue outlook came in better than expected. Analysts really liking this quarter. And then you look at Okta, up more than 9% after beating on estimates with revenue up 61% year over year. Some price target decreases, though, from the Street, but nevertheless, a positive quarter for the company. Brian.

BRIAN SOZZI: Snow on fire. Ines Ferre, thanks so much.
