'Mesmerizing' Morning Mist Rises Over New York's Genesee River

Misty ‘clouds’ floated above the Genesee River in New York’s Letchworth State Park on the morning of January 16 as water vapor warmed by the sun condensed into tiny visible droplets, park officials said.

Timelapse footage from park official Conrad Baker shows a view of the park’s gorge from Archery Field Overlook.

“It’s a mesmerizing view,” Letchworth State Park wrote on Facebook. “The water vapor in these ‘clouds’ are drifting north right along with the liquid water in the river.” Credit: Letchworth State Park via Storyful
