National Guard File Through Barriers at Capitol Ahead of Inauguration

Fencing and barricades have been erected in Washington ahead of Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20 and amid security concerns following the January 6 storming of the Capitol.

Around 25,000 National Guard members from several states were expected to be in the capital to support the security of the inauguration.
