Nvidia stock rises after Goldman Sachs adds to 'Conviction List'

Shares of Nvidia (NVDA) are rising this morning as Goldman Sachs added the chipmaker to its "Conviction List." Other additions to the list include Okta (OKTA) , Cintas (CTAS) , and Quanterix (QTRX), while removing Salesforce (CRM) and Johnson Controls (JCI) from the list.

- I'm watching shares of NVIDIA this morning popping after Goldman Sachs added the stock to its flagship Conviction List, a step up from the buy rating the bank gave the stock in late August. The Goldman analysts saying they expect the world's biggest AI chip-maker to maintain its status as, quote, "the accelerated computing industry standard for the foreseeable future." Also added to Goldman Sachs' America's Conviction List include cybersecurity group Okta, industrial supply group Cintas, and biotech company Quanterix. Meanwhile, they removed Salesforce and Johnson Controls from that list.
