Ocean City Bar Demonstrates 'Social Distancing Tables'

An Ocean City bar and grill has debuted the creative way it plans to ensure customers maintain social distance on Saturday, May 16, as coronavirus restrictions eased in the Maryland resort town.

This footage was shared by John Middlebrook, who filmed it at Fish Tales Bar & Grill on Saturday. The restaurant, which was only operating carry-out over the weekend, also shared footage of what they called “new social distancing tables” that would allow customers to remain 6 feet apart when it reopened its onsite service.

An order from the town allowed hotels and short-term rentals to begin accepting guests from May 14, drawing visitors to the area over the weekend, local media reported. Credit: John Middlebrook via Storyful
