Painters Begin Preparing Yokohama Stadium for Tokyo Olympics

Workers pulled down a large baseball mural from the entrance of the Yokohama Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, on June 22 in preparation of the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympics.

Yokohama Stadium is one of many sporting grounds that will be used in the international sporting event. The field, which usually operates as the home ground of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars baseball team, is due to host baseball and softball games.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are scheduled to run from July 23 to August 8 after being postponed the previous year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Credit: Anonymous via Storyful
