Pod of Dolphins Spotted Off Dana Point, California

Whale watchers were treated to a massive pod of dolphins stampeding alongside their boat off Dana Point, California.

This footage, supplied to Storyful by boat tour agency Capt. Dave’s Whale Watching, captures the dolphins jumping in and out of the blue Pacific waters.

The agency said the footage was shot on October 17 and estimated there were as many as 400 dolphins, including calves, in the pod.

“Dolphin stampedes happen spontaneously throughout the year,” they said. Credit: Capt. Dave’s Whale Watching via Storyful
