Police Constable Stops Out-of-Control Car on M1, Saving Mother and Baby

Footage has been released by Leicestershire Police of a rescue carried out by Constable Daniel Pattison on April 11. Pattison was called to an incident on the M1, where a driver with a baby in her car had fallen into a diabetic coma, and was no longer in control of the vehicle.

As seen in the footage, Pattison drove his car into the side of the woman’s vehicle, pushing it into roadside railings. He eventually manoeuvres in front of the car, forcing it to a stop.

According to a police statement, Pattison was awarded for his “bravery and commitment”. Credit: YouTube/Leicestershire Police
