Police Free Toddler Who Got Her Head Stuck in Railings

Police in Boulder were called to intervene in a classic childhood mishap recently when a little girl got her head stuck between the bars of some railings.

“As kids we’ve all done things that seem like a good idea but that we come to regret,” the police department said, adding that, luckily for this little one, Sgt Marquez and Officer Kyle found a “quick and clever” way to free her.

Video released by the department shows the grateful girl as she’s freed. She then rushes straight to the comforting arms of her mother, before thanking the officers. Credit: Boulder Police Department via Storyful
