Rain, Flooding Washes Out Bridge in Villa Altagracia

Many low-lying regions of the Dominican Republic were flooded on April 25, after days of heavy rainfall, Dominican Today reported.

A bridge over the River Haina collapsed in Villa Altagracia in San Cristobal province, cutting off several communities from each other, according to local media. Mudslides and power cuts were also reported.
