Rainwater Streams Down Cliffs in Santa Cruz County, California

Rain continued to pour over Santa Cruz, California, on Monday, October 25, after a flood advisory was issued for the county a day prior.

This footage filmed by Cal Fire San Mateo’s Santa Cruz Unit shows water streaming down cliffs along a highway on Monday. “Don’t go chasing the waterfalls at Waddell Beach in Santa Cruz County on Highway 1, about a half mile south of the San Mateo County line,” the department tweeted.

Evacuation orders in the Santa Cruz area were lifted on Monday morning after the threat of mudslides and debris flow at the sites of recent wildfires had passed, according to local news reports. Credit: Cal Fire San Mateo – Santa Cruz Unit via Storyful
