Sandbags Stacked Outside Queensland Buildings as Flooding Hits Australia's Western Downs Region

Businesses in the town of Chinchilla, Queensland, piled up sandbags around doors and windows as flooding inundated the town, video from December 2 shows.

Queensland’s state emergency services issued an emergency alert for Chinchilla late on Thursday.

The service said it received more than 400 requests for help in 24 hours as severe flooding gripped towns in the state’s southeast.
