Seagull Hitches a Ride on Sunfish Off California Coast

A group of whale watchers spotted a seagull catching a free ride on a sunfish off the coast of Dana Point, California, on April 16.

Footage posted by Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching shows the seagull nibbling on parasites on the fish. The tour guide is heard saying that the sunfish, commonly known as ‘mola mola’, might be the biggest one she’s ever seen.
