Several Injured in Rocket Strike on Apartment Building in Sderot

Israeli medics responded to the site of a rocket strike on an apartment building in Sderot, Israel, that injured six people on May 12, local reports said.

News reports said a six-year-old boy was critically injured and a five-year-old boy was moderately injured in the strike, along with at least four others.

Video released by Magen David Adom, Israel’s national EMS, shows emergency crews at the scene in Sderot where smoke wafted from a hole in the apartment building.

As of Wednesday Israeli media reported that six people had died in Israel from the recent rocket attacks.

The Gaza Health Ministry said at least 53 Palestinians, including 14 children, had been killed by Israeli airstrikes, and another 320 were wounded. Credit: Magen David Adom via Storyful
