Several Seriously Injured in Gothenburg Building Explosion

Hundreds of people were evacuated and 25 people were taken to hospital after an explosion at an apartment building in central Gothenburg, Sweden, on September 28.

This footage, by Tuija Stenqvist, shows smoke rising from the building in the Annedal area of the city.

According to local news outlet Goteborgs-Posten, the explosion rocked the building just before 5 am, leading to a fire.

At least four people were seriously injured in the incident and 18 others, including a firefighter, had minor injuries, the outlet said. Credit: Tuija Stenqvist via Storyful
