Severe Storm Destroys Home in Bossier Parish, Louisiana

A storm hit northern Bossier Parish, Louisiana, on June 19, causing severe damage to homes.

Drone footage of the storm’s path shows fallen trees and a demolished house. Photos of the damage show the damaged home of Carl Jones, a Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy. Other photos of the property show debris littering the lawn, a caved-in garage door and a damaged fence.

In a video, Jones describes the storm as “chaotic” and said, “things were just crumbling all around” him and his wife as they hid in a shelter in their home.
