Snow Accumulates as Season's First Major Winter Storm Hits Quebec

Snow turned streets white in Quebec City on Monday, December 6, during the first major winter storm of the season.

In videos posted early Monday, Twitter user @FPOnTheDL captured the blustery conditions as snow accumulated on her balcony and the streets around.

Hundreds of schools across Quebec province were closed on Monday after Environment Canada issued winter storm warnings for significant accumulations of snow and freezing rain.
