Snow Showers Cover Roadways in Colorado Springs

Heavy snow accumulated quickly in parts of Colorado Thursday, March 4, making roads icy, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported.

Footage taken by Tak Landrock shows big flakes falling in Colorado Springs, covering the streets in his neighborhood.

A winter weather advisory was expanded to include the Southern Front Range Foothills across Jefferson and Douglas counties as the NWS forecast three to seven inches of snow.
