Soccer Match Halted After Alpaca Pitch Invasion

A West Yorkshire League match between Carlton Athletic and Ilkley Town was delayed by an unusual pitch invasion on September 19, as an alpaca took to the field.

Claire Armstrong, an Ilkley Town club member, captured footage of the furry intruder, who’s named Oscar.

“After about 15 minutes of it parading around the farmer eventually turned up with some food to try and tempt it back home,” she said.
