Southwest Airlines slashes Boeing delivery target in Q1 miss

Southwest Airlines (LUV) stock is spinning out in Thursday's pre-market session, falling after the airline operator slashes its expectations for the number of Boeing 737 Max jets (BA) it will receive in 2024. Amid safety concerns and several probes by federal regulators, Boeing is experiencing a backlog in aircraft deliveries it has promised to operators.
