Spanish Prime Minister Surveys Flood-Hit Alicante

Cleanup and rescue operations were underway on September 15 in parts of Spain affected by deadly record rainfall.

Severe rainfall hit parts of Valencia, Alicante, Murcia and Almeria on September 12. El Pais reported that at least six people had died as a result of storms.
