Stocks close higher as market melt-up continues

Stocks close the week in the green as the market melt-up continues. Yahoo Finance Live takes a look at how the markets ended the day.

- Counting down the final seconds of the trading week. All three of the major averages heading higher for the day and also for the week. The Dow up 45 points here. S&P up just about a tenth of a percent. Just shy of 4,300 there.

And the NASDAQ up about a tenth a percent. The NASDAQ on track for its seventh weekly gain in a row. The Dow hitting the highest level that we have seen since the beginning of May. And S&P highest since August.

Well, there is a closing bell. Again all three of the major averages ending in the green. Ending to the upside today.
