JOSH LIPTON: The mark is closing the day mixed. Jared Blikre is back with a look at the day's action. Jared.

JARED BLIKRE: That's right. Dow down. But small caps leading up 1.4%.

Not a whole lot going on with the S&P 500. And the NASDAQ composite. By the way, the NASDAQ composite just barely missed a closing record high by a few points. Yet again, it's been hovering around that level for several days now. You will see a headline sometime probably.

But for today, utilities taking the cake up 1.88%. And then as Julia said communications services also leading today a 8/10 of a percent. Materials, discretionary, financials.

No tech in there. Tech is positive up about 11 basis points. But it was health care and energy that led to the downside today.

And despite the fact that we don't have a tech really outperforming today, we do have a couple of records. Meta up 1%. That's good for a record high.

Technically, it is in the communications services bucket. So that actually was a leader today. Apple up 8/10 of 1 percent.

But we're seeing NVIDIA did manage to close at a record high yesterday. Did not today. Microsoft just barely trading even there.

And let's go to our leaders. And what we're going to see Bitcoin really taking the cake. And I was making the argument an hour ago that we've really seen unprofitable tech just surge recently. Well, recently, being this week. And we're seeing the continuation of that today.

ARKK is number 3. There after my two Bitcoin ETFs. That's the disruption. Trade that's up 3%.

Then XRT, that's a retail. IPOs, solar, small caps, and KWEB, which is Chinese internet ETFs. We can see that doing fairly well today following after some outsized movements yesterday in the Chinese EV space. Li Auto up 11% here.

And let's take a quick look. And this isn't going to be the closing price of Bitcoin because it doesn't close. But nevertheless, we want to get a two view up 10%, 56,985. Basically, just 57,000.

And I'm just wondering how many price alerts I'm going to get overnight in the crypto sphere. Rounding out our discussion here, let's take a look at the Dow. More red than green.

Apple is a bright spot here. JP Morgan treading water. But Amazon, after it joined the Dow only yesterday, down about 2/3 of 1%, guys

JULIE HYMAN: You better turn on. Do not disturb overnight, Jared, so you don't get all those pings. Thanks so much.
