Strong Winds Caused by Microburst Sweep Georgetown, Texas

Strong winds that were produced by a microburst from a collapsing thunderstorm led to damages in Georgetown, Texas, on July 28, according to the National Weather Service.

Cody Holder filmed this dramatic video that shows massive winds smashing a tree and bringing up objects from the ground. Holder wrote on a Twitter post that the tree was “leaning pretty hard but it’s salvageable.”
