Sylvan Fire Covers 3,700 Acres in Central Colorado

Approximately 200 firefighters were battling a fire in Eagle County, Colorado, that reached 3,752 acres by Thursday, June 24, and was zero percent contained, officials said.

The fire was reported on Sunday, June 20, and was burning 16 miles south of Eagle, Colorado, according to officials.

Footage shared by the Sylvan Fire Management Team shows the site and firefighting efforts on June 21.
