Thousands Rally Against Corruption in Santo Domingo

Tens of thousands of Dominican citizens joined an anti-corruption march organized by Marcha Verde in downtown Santo Domingo on Sunday, July 16. Additional solidarity rallies were held in New York, Miami and several European cities.

The Marcha Verde movement was launched in January 2017 amid widespread allegations of public corruption in the country, which the organization has condemned en masse.
