Timelapse Shows Smoke From Cameron Peak Fire Filling Colorado Sky

The Cameron Peak Fire continued to burn across northern Colorado on October 15, after scorching 164,140 acres, prompting road closures and evacuations, and officially becoming the largest known wildfire in the history of the state.

This footage was recorded by Mark Snow from Loveland, Colorado, and shows a timelapse of smoke from the fire as it fills the air and darkens the sky.

The fire began burning on August 13 and was 56 percent contained as of October 15. Credit: Mark Snow via Storyful
