Tornado Damages Buildings in East Brewton, Alabama

A tornado touched down in East Brewton, Alabama, on June 19, injuring several people and causing heavy damage to homes, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS said on June 20 that the damage suggested the tornado was EF-2 intensity.

The Escambia County Emergency Management Agency said 15 to 20 people were injured as a result of the severe weather in the county, including two people who were seriously injured, local media reported.
