    The organisers of the Golden Globe Awards have promised to appoint a black judge to vote on nominees "as soon as possible", following backlash over its members’ lack of diversity. A spokesman for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HPFA), a cohort of 87 entertainment journalists who decide who should win the coveted statuettes every year, told the Telegraph it was "fully committed to ensuring our membership is reflective of the communities around the world who love film, TV, and the artists inspiring and educating them". He added that "we understand we need to bring in black members, as well as members from other underrepresented backgrounds". The HFPA, which will host the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday for the 78th time, was slammed for nominating the heavily ridiculed Netflix series Emily In Paris while snubbing the critically acclaimed I May Destroy You, directed by British actress Michaela Coel. It later emerged that more than 30 HFPA members were flown to France to visit the set of Emily in Paris in 2019 where they were treated to a two-night stay at the five-star Peninsula Paris Hotel, where rooms start at $1,400 a night and lunch at the Musée des Arts Forains, a “private museum with amusement rides dating to 1950”. The trip was paid for by the show’s developers, Paramount Network. The HFPA told the Telegraph that "the notion that these visits have any influence over nominees for the Golden Globes is absurd".

In pratica la sospensione riguarda: - i 18 mesi di tempo nei quali l'acquirente deve stabilire la residenza nel territorio del comune in cui si trova l'immobile che ha acquistato; - i 12 mesi di tempo a disposizione del contribuente, che ha ceduto l'immobile acquistato con i benefici prima casa nei 5 anni successivi, per conservare l'agevolazione se acquista di un altro immobile da utilizzare come abitazione principale; - i 12 mesi di tempo concessi al contribuente per vendere l'abitazione per cui ha beneficiato dell'agevolazione, se acquista un secondo immobile.

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed a 400-metre cordon was in place, with 2,600 properties evacuated for the examination of the device, which was found on Glenthorne Road on Friday morning. The device was found on a building site on private land to the west of the University of Exeter campus.

Così Paul Stoffels, direttore scientifico di Johnson & Johnson, commenta l'ultimo passo avanti dell'iter Fda, cioè il voto "all'unanimità" da parte del comitato consultivo dell'ente Usa per la raccomandazione ad autorizzare l'uso di emergenza (Eua) del vaccino J&J, sviluppato da Janssen, per la popolazione da 18 anni in su. Il passo successivo del processo è il via libera finale, cioè che la Fda decida se concedere l'Eua, in linea con la raccomandazione del comitato consultivo. Dopo verrà fornita dagli esperti dei Cdc, i centri statunitensi per la prevenzione e il controllo delle malattie, una raccomandazione sull'uso e il lancio del vaccino. J&J, si legge in una nota dell'azienda, "è pronta a fornire il suo vaccino immediatamente dopo l'Eua e prevede di consegnare un numero sufficiente di dosi entro la fine di marzo per consentire la vaccinazione completa di oltre 20 milioni di persone negli Stati Uniti. La società prevede di fornire 100 milioni di vaccini monodose agli Stati Uniti durante la prima metà del 2021. Dall'azienda è stato espresso un ringraziamento anche a chi ha contribuito all'impresa di mettere insieme i dati necessari che sono stati presentati, dai ricercatori ai partecipanti allo studio.
