Truck Goes Airborne Before Crashing Into Austin Apartment Complex

A truck crashed into an apartment building at a complex in Austin, Texas, on November 22, after going airborne for about 50 feet, the Austin Fire Department said.

Firefighters said the truck lost control after failing to negotiate a 90-degree turn. One occupant suffered life-threatening injuries, while the two other people in the vehicle fled, officials said.

No residents were injured, the department said. They estimated about $20,000 of damage was done to the building. Credit: Austin Fire Department via Storyful
