US Cancer Survivor Becomes First to Swim the English Channel Four Times Back-to-Back

A US woman has become the first person to swim the English Channel four times back-to-back, just a year after completing breast cancer treatment.

Sarah Thomas, a 37-year-old from Colorado, told the BBC, “I’m pretty tired right now,” after coming ashore following the epic 54-hour swim. Credit: Jon Washer via Storyful
