BRIAN SOZZI: Brian Sozzi, Yahoo Finance here. We are on the ground at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska for Warren Buffett's big Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting. Here are three things the world of investing wants to hear from the Oracle of Omaha. First up, the state of America's banks.

JPMorgan now owns First Republic. PacWest hangs on the brink. America and the markets want to hear from Warren Buffett on whether banks are a good buy here or if there will be more failures.

Here's the second thing investors all around the world want to hear from the Oracle of Omaha. That is the state of the US economy. Some people see a recession. Others see no recession. Warren Buffett has historically said, don't bet against America. So the eyes are on Buffett. Is he still a big believer in that, or does he see an economic slowdown ahead?

The third thing investors all around the world want to hear from Warren Buffett, stocks. They love when Warren Buffett mentions the companies he owns. And I would be locked in on a couple of stocks in particular. First off, Paramount, the stock got absolutely slaughtered in response to earnings. Warren Buffett started building a big stake in Paramount in November 2022. That stake is under pressure, or the value of that stake, I should say.

Of course, next up, Apple. This will be the first time that investors will get to hear from Warren Buffett after Apple's big earnings report. Does he still like Apple? We will find out.
