Why International Women's Day is still needed

Sunday 8 March marks International Women's Day (IWD), a day set aside to celebrate the achievements of women, while simultaneously drawing attention to the inequalities that still exist between genders.

The overall theme of this year’s IWD is #EachforEqual, based around the idea that an equal world is an enabled world.

To celebrate the annual event, the team at Yahoo UK shared their views on why IWD is very much still needed.
