Woman Shatters Hundreds of Bottles of Alcohol Inside Stevenage Supermarket

A woman was filmed smashing hundreds of bottles of booze inside an Aldi supermarket in Stevenage, England, on November 25.

Footage of the incident shows a large pile of broken bottles on the aisle floor as the woman swipes more bottles from the shelves. The woman is seen slipping and falling on the broken glass and several shoppers can be heard saying the woman is bleeding from her right hand.

The woman was arrested and was also treated in hospital for her injuries, according to reports.

Lee Clark captured this video and told Storyful he spoke to a supermarket manager who estimated the woman caused the store about £100,000 (around $130,000) in damages that include the destroyed spirits stock, lost revenue due to shop closure, and the cost of new flooring.
