BUZZ-Capita: worst move in 2-1/2 yrs on contract disappointment

** Shares (Berlin: DI6.BE - news) in Capita (LSE: CPI.L - news) under pressure in brisk trade, with traders highlighting the outsourcing group missed out on a contract.

** Britain named preferred bidders for 21 criminal probation service contracts worth around 450 mln pounds ($725 mln) a year, with firms chosen including Interserve (LSE: IRV.L - news) , Sodexo and GEO Group.

** Interserve jumps 3.1 pct, with Sodexo up 0.8 pct and Geo 0.5 pct firmer.

** Capita worst performer on FTSE 100 by some margin, down 5.4 pct, suffering its biggest one-day pct drop since April 2012.

** Trading volume robust at almost thrice the 90-day daily average vs UK benchmark on half.
