N-able by SolarWinds Sweeps Managed Services Category in CRN's 2014 Annual Report Card

Managed Services Innovator Earns Top Honors and Partner Praise in CRN's Inaugural Managed Services ARC Survey

OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - Aug 20, 2014) - N-able by SolarWinds, a global leader in remote monitoring and management (RMM) and service automation software, today proudly announced it has been named a CRN Annual Report Card (ARC) winner, sweeping the entire managed services category to earn top honors across the partnership, support and product innovation sub-categories. The 2014 win marks the first year CRN has recognized managed services as part of the prestigious annual partner survey.

According to Patrick Leonard, Vice President of Metairie, La.-based My IT, N-able's selection reflects the value the managed services innovator delivers to its partners. "N-able is focused heavily on the relationships they establish with their MSPs, and they are true visionaries in managed services," says Leonard. "They are not selling a remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform but rather a business model and enablement resources that prime their partners for greater success."

The ARC honor also underscores N-able's ongoing commitment to technological advancements in managed services. Earlier this year, N-able launched its N-central 9.4 RMM and MSP service automation platform and new Help Desk Manager (HDM), based on SolarWinds® technology, optimized for MSPs. N-central 9.4 and N-able's HDM work together to simplify success for MSPs by further automating IT services and simplifying help desk support so that it can easily scale across their customers' entire infrastructure.

JP Jauvin, general manager of N-able, accepted the award on Aug. 19 at The Channel Company's XChange conference in San Antonio.

"We are thrilled to be the first RMM provider to win and sweep the new managed services category in this year's CRN ARC survey," says Jauvin. "ARC represents the best of the best because it's rated solely by those partners who do business with a vendor. It's a peer/partnership measurement that others trust and cannot easily refute, making it all the more important and gratifying to our team at N-able. We'd like to thank CRN and our world-class partners for this esteemed recognition."

For nearly three decades, the distinguished ARC study has served as a benchmark for excellence throughout the IT channel, recognizing the technology vendors most highly praised by their solution provider partners. Honorees are selected based on the results of an in-depth survey by The Channel Company's research team. This year, more than 2,500 solution providers were asked to evaluate their satisfaction with 81 vendor partners on each of 18 criteria in terms of product innovation, support and partnership.

"IT today is about solving business problems, and it requires more than just stellar products. Solution providers are looking for vendor partners that embrace the IT channel, working with them hand-in-hand to meet their customers' needs," said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company, publisher of CRN. "CRN's Annual Report Card is the definitive word on who those vendors are, coming straight from the solution providers themselves. The ARC has been recognizing the vendors that deliver their solutions through the channel in the most effective ways for 29 years, and we congratulate N-able as one of 2014's top honorees."
