Alphabet to pay first-ever quarterly dividend, $70B buyback

In a historic move, Alphabet Inc. (GOOG, GOOGL) has approved a $70 billion share repurchase program and it's first-ever quarterly dividend. The dividend, set at $0.20 per share, will be distributed to eligible shareholders on June 17, 2024.
