American Airlines shares were down nearly 8% in premarket trading on Wednesday, dragging peers Delta Air, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines, which all fell between 1.5% and 2.5%. The Fort Worth, Texas-based company revised its forecast on Tuesday and now expects second-quarter adjusted earnings in the range of $1.00 to $1.15 per share, compared to previous expectations of $1.15 to $1.45 per share.
