Prettiest dresses from the Oscars after party

The Academy Awards may peak with historic wins, celebrity digs and spectacular musical performances, but in our minds, the after-parties actually reign supreme in the fashion department.

Following a long evening of red carpet interviews and presentation after presentation, our favorite stars slip out of their high-fashion ballgowns and into their sparkly party dresses to continue the celebrations. It's a lot of glitz, glam and thigh-high slits -- but we have to say, we're more in love with these looks than its predecessors.

At this year's "Vanity Fair" Oscars party, Kate Beckinsale stunned in a red hot Zuhair Murad gown while Gabrielle Union opted for a spectacularly crafted white strapless dress from Giambattista Valli. Florence Pugh celebrated her nomination in a sophisticated (and sexy!) gold Louis Vuitton gown, Kylie Jenner showed off her famous curves in beaded Ralph and Russo, Lili Reinhart took a risk in colorful Marc Jacobs, Jessica Alba glistened in Versace and Maude Apatow dazzled in Miu Miu.
