Amanda Holden and Alan Carr's crumbling Sicilian holiday house from BBC One's Amanda and Alan: The Italian Job is for sale for £127,500 — and it has been completely overhauled.

The eight-part series, which aired at the start of the year, followed the duo as they transformed two €1 properties into one stylish home, tackling it from the ground up. From plumbing and plastering to knocking down old bathroom walls, they completed their DIY project in just three months.

Casa Alamanda, located in the medieval town of Salemi, Sicily, is now ready for new owners to move in. On the market for €145,000 (£127,500), all proceeds will be split between Comic Relief and Children in Need.

The fully furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment now boasts a spacious lounge, dining room, modern kitchen, and three balconies each offering picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. Spanning 1,399 sq ft, the renovated property also includes air conditioning, heating and functional electrical systems.

Previously talking about the show, Amanda said: 'Alan and I came up with the idea for this show together and approached the BBC as we knew it was the perfect home. We are both very passionate about interior design and we'll be very hands on, injecting some much needed life into an area of Sicily that's in need of some Holden and Carr magic.'

Alan and Amanda's property is one of the many empty houses being sold in Sicily at rock-bottom prices to help restore the local community. Back in 2019, the small hilltop town of Sambuca, on the Italian island of Sicily, was also selling properties for the bargain price of €1.

According to data by Rightmove, seaches for homes in Sicily have more than tripled (+255 per cent) since the show began at the beginning of January, compared with the same period last year.

This property is currently on the market for €145,000 (£127,500) with Sotheby's International Realty via Rightmove. To catch up on the show, visit bbc.co.uk.
