'How could he not win?: Evicted 'Big Brother Canada' houseguest is confident this competitor will win

The numbers are quickly dwindling in the Big Brother Canada house with Haleena Gill being the latest eviction in Season 10, leaving just Betty Yirsaw, Josh Nash and Kevin Jacobs in the house.

“The bitterness is coming out a little bit, the emotions, I'm all in my feels,” Gill told Yahoo Canada. “I get it’s a game but it definitely stings, right now it stings being evicted.”

When it comes to the reason for her eviction, over Kevin, she believes it boils down to Josh and Betty thinking keeping Kevin is an “easy win,” but Haleena disagrees.

“It's definitely not at all," Haleen said. “Kevin is going to give them a run for their money for sure.”

“[Kevin and I] are brother and sister, honestly, I would not have survived the game without him. I did not think I was going to find a number one in the game, I thought I'd have a bigger alliance…but to have just one person was amazing.”

Ultimately, throughout the game, Haleena thought she could trust Kevin in the house, but she thinks Josh is the most untrustworthy competitor.

“I think he definitely knew everything with everybody, and he will obviously use that to his advantage,” Haleena said. “So I would say he's untrustworthy, because he couldn't even stay true to two people.”

“Maybe I'm a little bitter right now, but I would say Josh.”

As Haleena moves into the jury house, she is honest about the fact that she’ll certainly have some apologizing to do, most recently for deciding not to use her Veto to protect Jacey-Lynne Graham last week.

“I'm a little nervous to go to jury, I have a lot of apologizing to do, a lot of time to catch up on sleep, but first apologizing, I would say,” she said.

In terms of what will impact her jury vote, Haleena is going to use her head, instead of her heart.

“I want to see who represents Season 10 of Big Brother Canada,... why do you deserve to win, and I want to know those reasons,” she said.

But when it comes to who she thinks is most likely to leave the house as the ultimate winner, it has to be her “brother” Kevin.

“He has played an amazing game,…strategically he has made decisions, he's manipulated, he's done a bunch of things to be in the position that he's in,” Haleena said. “ He's made an impact and his personal relationship with everybody, he's so well rounded as player, also as an individual, how could he not win?”

Looking back at her time on the show, the houseguest from Surrey, B.C., says it has been an “absolutely wild” experience to be in the Big Brother Canada house.

“You can't make this sh-t up,...you have 16 people from all around Canada, different personalities, different experiences,” Haleena said.

“It was absolutely the best thing of life. I've gained confidence in myself like no other, I flourished as a person, I've learned things about myself that I didn't even know. It was the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
