Just when you thought espresso martinis couldn’t be improved because they are one of the best cocktails of all time (that’s not an opinion, that is an undeniable fact), we find out people have been making Biscoff espresso martinis.

Yup – espresso martinis can now be made with Lotus Biscoff Spread to make them even more delicious, and we get the feeling our lives will never be the same again.

We first heard about Biscoff espresso martinis (which are basically just like a wonderfully boozy version of this iconic Biscoff iced coffee) when we saw photos that people had shared of their at-home cocktails on social media. Plus, we noticed that espresso martini home delivery service and bar pop up company, Insomnia Scotland, also has a Biscoff espresso martini on its menu, and it really is a thing of beauty.

If you want to make a Biscoff espresso martini at home, here’s how to do it:

Ingredients:

  • 50ml vodka

  • 30ml freshly made espresso coffee

  • 20ml Kahlúa

  • 2tbsp Biscoff Spread

  • Biscoff biscuit crumbs

Method:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice and vodka, espresso, Kahlua and Biscoff Spread. Shake vigorously until ingredients are well combined and well-chilled.

  • Strain into a martini glass, until froth forms nicely on the top. Garnish with Biscoff biscuit crumbs. Serve.

I mean, if you can think of a tastier cocktail, I’m all ears...
