BUZZ-German utilities: lifted by JPMorgan, Deutsche upgrades
** Shares (Berlin: DI6.BE - news) in RWE (Xetra: 703712 - news) and E.ON 2nd and 3rd top risers on the DAX, up 2.5% and 1.1% respectively, following upgrades by JPMorgan (LSE: JPIU.L - news) and Deutsche Bank (Other OTC: DBAGF - news)
** JPMorgan sees German utilities poised to turn from uninvestable to attractive investments thanks to a likely deal with the German government to cap nuclear liabilities
** Upgrades RWE to "overweight" from "neutral", saying it forecasts equity free cash flow (FCF) yield at an attractive 9.9 pct, assuming power generation cash flows at zero
** Deutsche Bank sees several utilities including E.ON, Iberdrola (Amsterdam: ID6.AS - news) and Engie (Other OTC: ENGIY - news) lifted by their efforts to help themselves amid collapsing commodities
** Lifts E.ON to "buy" from "hold", saying its restructuring plans should prove successful. Also raises Terna (Amsterdam: TX6.AS - news) and EDPR to "buy" from "hold" and Fortum (Other OTC: FOJCY - news) and Drax to "hold" from "sell"
