** Russell Investments is the asset management arm of Frank Russell Co, which LSE bought last year from insurer Northwestern Mutual for $2.7 bln
** Motivation for purchase largely to expand into indexes business & push into US
** LSE has already received a number of expressions of interest in the unit which, according to a recent Reuters report, it plans to sell for about $1.4 bln
** Numis says that, if achieved, this sale price would add further c.50-60p to its TP
