Cefinn's bestselling Daphne dress is finally back in stock - and it's the most flattering frock I've ever seen
If I could pick one dress to take on a desert Island with me, it would be Cefinn’s Daphne design. I am really not kidding: I've bought this dress in three different colours since it debuted last autumn.
The Daphne dress is beautifully cut with ruched cups, a V-neckline and a hook-fastening corset waist. Team that with a peplum skirt and longer sleeves (a must-have in winter) and you’ve got a winning combo. I am a size UK 12 with big hips and it makes me feel like a million bucks, but it would also create instant curves on boyish figures.

We've since spotted it on The Dress Edit, interiors guru Louise Roe, petite blogger Eni's Wardrobe's grid, Changing Rooms' Michaela Sharp, and so many other beautiful women on Instagram.
Obviously I'm not surprised this frock was so popular. Not only is it cut to perfection, the Daphne dress is also made from the fabric of the season: micro-cord, which has a plush, velvet-like texture that's perfect for autumn/winter.
After being sold-out since Christmas, this baby is back in new colourways for autumn/winter 2022 – you can now choose from red, navy and forest-green. The green was the most popular shade last year and we have some good guesses why...
In this deep hue, Cefinn's dress nods to the ladylike styles worn by The Duchess of Cambridge; it's like a wearable version of her sparkling silk-lamé number from The Vampire's Wife. It also has the same universally-flattering cut that means it'll work for any woman, of any size and any age.
Wintery and rich, this luxe cord dress would look great around Christmas – and since it can be dressed up and down, it will work for both daytime lunches (try trainers or ballet flats) and festive parties (platform heels and statement earrings).
