Citadel Securities launched credit business, CEO says

HONG KONG, Nov 8 (Reuters) - The chief executive officer of Citadel Securities said on Wednesday that the market marker has just launched its credit business.

Peng Zhao made the comment in a panel discussion at the Global Financial Leaders Investment Summit in Hong Kong, without elaborating.

"Greater China has been one of the largest driver of global growth and innovation and we continue to believe that it will play a tremendous part," Zhao said.

The firm had also doubled its Hong Kong headcount during COVID, Zhao said.
