• Shares of DST Systems, Inc. DST surged 5% after the company agreed to be bought by SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. SSNC for $5.4 billion which includes assumed debt

• KB Home’s KBH shares surged 12.3% after posting fourth quarter 2017 earnings per share  of $0.84, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.77
